The new clinic website had its start here and then graduated to its own website.

We can also offer exposure for issues which the Pink Fuzz crowd deems inappropriate, such as considering an option to a new fire hall or looking at the technical issues of the Raven coal mine. I have applied five times to PFRRA to present the case for a rebuilt fire hall. The last two times I did not even get an answer. Most of that info is in here, but needs to be updated before I repost it. On Raven I have received a grant to review the situation on behalf of the residents of Hornby Island, but I am told at two successive meetings of the PFRRA that "we" have decided it is wrong so no further discussion is needed or valid. It is not easy to get publicity if your opinions are not acceptable to the Pink Fuzz Journal editor. And even if they are, it hard to cover a complex issue in 600 words. One can pay Don Nixon to distribute it - at least that way one can control the formatting and appearance. Island Tides looks like a good option, which I will try out. All the info which was previously in here is still here, but may be out of date. We will update it and bring it back as we can.
